The Denver Country Club neighborhood has 4 historic districts including The Country Club Historic District, the Driving District. The Country Club Place subdivision between Franklin and Race Streets was designed in 1909 by William and Arthur Fisher, in collaboration with prominent Boston architect, Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. The neighborhood has fascinationg mansions, grand houses with styles and influences including Colonial, French Chateau, Tudor, Santa Fe and Georgian plus Denver squares, large bungalows and distinct Victorians. The boundaries of this neighborhood are 6th avenue to 1st and York to Downing. |
