The Capitol Hill neighborhood is located east of the Colorado State Capitol and Denver's City and County. The neighborhood's boundaries are Broadway, Downing Street, Colfax Avenue and Sixth Avenue. The Colfax boundary provides many different businesses, restuarants, bars, clubs, concert halls and other venues. Capitol Hill has a culture of its own which creates a vibrant sceene fitting
the urban district.
Capitol Hill contains 3 historic districts including Quality Hill, This neighborhood was once inhabitated by the Denver's wealthiest citizens, but now has Victorian mansions, contemporary condos and apartment complexes. The streets are filled with people at all hours of the night with bohemians and hipsters, the neighborhood is safe and friendly.... searching for an evening fix of entertainment in one of the diverse array of clubs, coffeehouses, art houses, galleries and bars. There are a wealth of historic sights including the Molly Brown House and tours of the Governor's Mansion, which resides in south Capitol Hill near the ultra-trendy Govn'rs Park.
